“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.” // Psalm 23:4

This painting was a response to prayer during the lockdown in 2020. We are always facing unknowns, but that summer it was hard to think you knew anything. Between the pandemic and confusion about a boy, I felt consumed in darkness. The Lord assured me of His Presence, and He invited me to move forward even though I could not see where I was going. I just needed to see Him and follow Him.

The darkness did not remain. He led me to light. But when the unknowns again become overbearing, I know to stay close to Him. May this painting be a reminder for you to stay close to Him.
